Continuing Education –Committee Chair: Mary Cox, RN, MSN, COHN-S – marymcox17@aol.com
The Continuing Education Committee represent membership/chapters and assist in reviewing Applications; the review is done electronically as the process for a chapter to receive contact hours for a continuing education event is accomplished electronically through the AOHP website. The Committee also assists in the 3-year renewal process to the Approver.
Government Affairs – Committee Chair: Alfred Carbuto, MS, RN, FNP-BC, COHN-S – acarbuto@montefiore.org
The Government Affairs Committee monitors and responds to legislation and regulations which impact the practice of occupational health in healthcare. Information is then disseminated via AOHP chapter presidents and chapter Government Affairs Committee members. The Committee also formulates position papers and platforms on related issues.

Goals:
- Increase revenue
- Maximize AOHP financial resources

- Increase membership participation
- Increase volunteerism in AOHP activities
Marketing – Committee Chair: Delynn Lamott, RN, BSN, COHN-S, - dlynnrlammott@msn.com
Goals:
- membership growth 5-10% this year
- recruit physicians within current member organizations
- increase AOHP recognition among affiliates
Research – Committee Chair: Linda Good, , RN, PhD, COHN-S - good.linda@scrippshealth.org
Goals:
- Formalize Research committee
- Identify priority areas of research
- Establish new Journal column “Ready to Research”
Technology – Committee Chair: Lydia Crutchfield – Lydia.Crutchfield@carolinashealthcare.org
Goals:
- Offer high technology education
- Offer higher technology to website
2010 Conference Committee Chair – Betsy Holzworth, RN, BSN, COHN-S/CM, bholzworth@culpeperhospital.com
The Conference Committee works closely with the Conference Chair and AOHP Headquarters staff to identify speakers and vendors, plan education content and provide on site support, if possible. The Committee meets monthly by teleconference.
